T. Rowe Price (TRP) announced a name change to the T. Rowe Price International Concentrated Equity fund effective immediately. As a result of this change, the Sun Life Financial segregated fund name will be updated to reflect the new name.

There are no changes to the TRP investment teams, the fund’s investment objectives, strategies and processes as a result of the fund name change.

Rationale for the name change

TRP determined that the word “Disciplined” better represents the investment approach of the fund. 

How does this impact clients and plan members?

There is no impact to, or action required of clients or plan members as a result of this change. Plan members invested in this fund will see the name change reflected on their accounts beginning January 14, 2019.
